Comment:

Reviews here made her class seem so hard but it's not. Just read the book and you will pass. You write a discussion board every week and get 2 tries to take a quiz, and then 4 tests. If you stay on top of your work you'll do great. Sometimes she gives extra credit and she def curves tests cause they don't affect your grade as much as you'd think.

Best online professor ever! Straight forward, easy grader, and caring! I had her for intro to psych and child psych. For intro to psych as long as you had the textbook and access code, the HW and quizzes were a breeze. Same goes for child psych. She required one quiz per week and one discussion post. SO EASY! Take her if you have the chance!

Ms. G was a really nice teacher, but I struggled in her class. A lot of the class in my opinion was self taught. My class started with 20 and by the end of the semester there was 9 of us. The learning curves she gave us really helped to boost my grade.

Loved her!! She's clear about all the assignments which were homeworks online, do those assignments and get extra points on your quizzes which really helped a lot. She's very fair and a great woman. She helps whenever you need and is always willing to go out of her way for you.

Professor Guallini is tough, there's no doubt about that. You have to really read the material and be able to apply it, not just memorize it. She uses real life examples and gives so many learning tools. She's a nice woman -- very easy to approach and get along with. Her class is definitely not for lazy people.

In the beginning i wasnt sure of professor gualini but as the semester progressed she really grew on me. She is so nice and makes the class more fun. She is the kind of professor that wants you to read the material. To pass her class you need to do the work. Her class isnt for lazy people.

I had her for PSY101 and she's my current professor for Child Psych. She's awesome, please take her if you get the chance! Her tests are hard, so study as much as possible. If you need help, she'll sit with you until you get it. Very friendly & funny. She gives lots of helpful examples during lectures. Work hard and you'll be fine.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. For a 101 class she assigns an intense workload with at least two different online components as well as off topic lectures and mangled tests. The disorganization of her style is unbearable. DO NOT TAKE HER. Psychology is amazing if you take it through someone else like Pernice.

If you don't have a job and don't have other classes, taking this class with her would be just fine! But really though, she basically expects you to learn psychology by yourself because she won't "spoon feed you the information." Very nice woman, bit of a wacko, but just an all around terrible professor. Id take the class again, just not with her.

Terrible teacher ! Tells you what chapters are on the test but hardly any of the material will be on it . Excepts you to take a 40 question test in 30 minutes and if you go over she will give you a zero . Worst test ever !

Professor Guallini is awesome!! I hated psych when I took it in high school, but I absolutely loved it with her. She's a great teacher and really wants you to pass. Aplia is an easy A considering you can have the online textbook up as you're doing it. Her tests are a fair and there's lots of potential to get your grade up. highly recommend!

You earn your grade in her class, that's for sure. She does go above and beyond to make herself available for those who need extra help. We had many extra credit assignments and even an extra test to help people pull up their averages. (btw: I am now taking an online course with another psych prof and it's only research papers and discussions.)

I'm taking Child Psych online with this professor and all she does is assign a research paper just about every week along with a quiz or 2 and/or a discussion. Seriously don't take this class unless you have all the time in the world. Terrible just terrible.

wow,I guess OCCC is desperate for quality teachers.She goes off on irreverent tangents in class talking for 45 minutes of nonsense. Topics like parking her car and dumb grand kid stories abound. Unbelievably, her lengthy tests actually include these "facts". She should resign.

Ms. G was great, she has a great personality and she is so down to earth. If you want to do good make sure you get the textbook and make chapter outlines. If you don't know how to make chapter outlines she will help you if you ask her. She was great. And pay attention to her stories! Remembering them really helps you apply concepts on her tests.

She has such a great personality and funny stories but she cannot teach. All of the homework is done online and there long! Her study guides do not help, she puts rarely nothing that will be on the test. Read the textbook for her tests and you should be fine.

OMG is all I can say. She expects much more than a 100 level course would ever dream of. For an elective class, I spent 10X the amount of hours in this class to come up with a C than I did in my major to get an A. STay away from this insanity. Run as fast as you can! Overall the worst college experience ever. BAD TEACHER.
