I think Prof.Mercaitis was an amazing teacher. She was very fair in her grading, because she didn't just let you slack off. She gave points to those who deserved it. Go to the class, ask questions and participate. If you do you are guaranteed to pass.

If you like being given the cold shoulder when you ask for help, and being treated like a stupid kid, then this prof. is for you! Material is EXTREMELY easy, but prof. M tries way too hard to make it look hard, and with that she makes you memorize the most irrelevant of things such as names of patients....

She was by far the worst teacher at the University of Massachusetts. I attended all classes and did not learn ONE thing. She was rude to her students. She treated us as if we were disturbing her everytime we went to her for help. She singled people out in class and made us feel like we were back in kindergarten. She was very unfair with assignments

she thinks she is all that. on lectures she reads the slides with monotenous voice. does not strike interest in the subject. plays cheesy movies. asks to learn ridiculous stuff for the exams, like the names of the patients described in the cases. terrible teacher and her TA's suck.

THIS CLASS IS AWESOME. I LOVE THE MATERIAL AND THE PROFESSOR GIVES GREAT LECTURES. I'M LEARNING SO MUCH. Note: This tests are based on pure memorization of what she has taught you. So, memorize all the keywords in bold in the text and study your notes well.

Early morning class, but luckily there are just enough kids that you can skip it and not get caught. Really interesting class, Prof. Mercaitis is awsome. And I took the final in 15minutes and got a B, not too much studying/understanding either.
