I had Prof. Pakvis over the summer for both Stats and Methods. She takes topics that are usually boring and challenging and makes them understandable and is will to do what she needs to do to ensure that you understand the material. Sadly she is retiring next year but if you get a chance to take one of her last classes DO IT!!

Patricia Pakvis is an excellent professor. Everything on exam is either from slides, or textbooks, she doesn’t try to trick people in the exam, either you know it or you don’t. Her TA is really nice too; she’s not hard on marking essays.

I had Ms. Pakvis for both Stats 2205 and Methods 2206. She is the sweetest prof I have ever had at Western (King's Campus). If there is any class you need to take with Pakvis, TAKE IT. She is clear, concise, and will take time out of her day until you fully understand concepts. Show up to class, do the easy hmk she assigns, u'll do well!
