Unsupportive, uncaring, perhaps a terrific english teacher yet the worst dean of academic affairs ever encountered. She lacks the interpersonal skills for the job, and quite likely the heart. If you can possibly avoid her face-to-face, do! Smart, just not very nice.

pat was great. she is perhaps one of the most busy people in the school, but she is a kind, learned woman and a helpful thesis advisor. she has some great books on her shelves. don't ****her off. it is okay to show up 5 minutes later for meetings b/c she'll be late too
