I was genuinely interested in this subject. I saw a different style of teaching that I was not accustomed to seeing. She is not interested in an opinion that is above her intelligence. That is a bold statement as she is quite intelligent, but even the smartest individuals can become clouded by their own agenda. My IQ dropped during this class.

I am taking Professor Washington's African American studies class at UCSD. She is the WORST professor I have encountered at UCSD. She should be fired. She is unprofessional, unorganized, and a terrible lecturer.

Dr. Washington is passionate about teaching and loves her students. She is a strong black woman and a powerful role model for the diverse SDSU student body. She is the only black ws professor at SDSU ever. I hope she returns to SDSU.

she's an easy grader. there was a total of 400 pts possible in her class- 200 pts is a C. the outside assignments weren't too bad. if you couldn't participate outside of class, she would give you an alternative assignments. Margaret (the TA)is a big help

Passionate, intelligent, at times informative but she sucked! She spoke of her only topic-RACE. She became a detriment to her cause and to the class as a whole. I do not recommend her at all!! (Unless you enjoy wasting a semester.)
