Tests are hard if you do not come to class or study. I followed the study guide and took notes during lectures and film clips. He offers to help students after each class with any of the material. His application of life stories is most helpful and at times very humorous. Power points are used during each class for media and a few slides. A+ class.

He is not a good professor, plain and simple. He does not utilize power points, rather just only standing in front of the class with a sheet of the terms and reads them off, mixed in with his own personal stories. Do not expect to learn much from him, but everything on your own. Terrible professor, but still an interesting class.

You must work for your grade in this class! Lectures aren't completely necessary, although he does give you up to 5 bonus points for attending class, which can really help your grade come the end of the semester. You need to complete the study guide for each test, the study guide is the test. Study from the study guide and you'll be good!

Don't bother with his power point lectures, all of the information is from the book. I had to read and take copious notes on all 700 pages and ended up with a B. Only 10% of the class got an A. I would suggest another professor if possible...

He is a cool guy but does not teach. He recited out of the book and talks about life stories. I read every chapter and studied the definitions and i barely passed. The tests are so impossible that he added 10% to all our exams. Would not recommend.

class would seem fun, with ANOTHER teacher the only reason to go to class is to get credit for being there. he doesn't teach, just talk about his life. Do the online test for each chapter and just study that. i wish i would have done that in the beg. of the year. Test are ridiculas. Class is BORING

This guy was the man -- ask him to do a headstand! He'll seriously stand on his head, but usually only at the end of the semester. Yes you have to be in class, and if I could have rated book use as a 10 out of 4 I would have. But, if you read the book you're fine. I never looked at the material until a few hours before a test and still got an A

The tests are insanely hard. I read almost the ENTIRE book and still failed the tests. If it wasn't for all the extra credit, I would have failed the class. If you take this class just make sure you go to class and do the 15 extra credit papers he offers. They are all really easy.

Nice guy. He is really tough and controlling. His tests are almost impossible to pass. There is a speech and if you do well on that and the extra credits you will be ok in the class. He likes to talk about himself and his career which does make it semi interesting. In all honesty I feel like I learned nothing that I did not already know.

I went to class 7 times, and I got a B. All you need to do is the online tests for each chapter and you'll get a B. Lectures consist of him reading the book back to you. I don't rec. this prof because he's absolutely useless with help. When asked about the final, he said to study "everything we covered in the sem." That was the whole book. Avoid.

I absolutely love psychology and I understand a lot of it, but the tests are impossible. I went to class everyday, paid attention, defined the terms, and I STILL have a D in the class. I absolutely reccomend that you STAY AWAY from this prof.

I hated this class. I was so interested in psychology before taking it. He talks so fast but I wouldnt even bother coming to class unless you cant get the definitions out of the book. All he does is class is read over the definitions and tell stories. His tests are hard whether you come to class or not. There are better classes to take.

Very difficult exams! Extra credit opportunities and presentation. Nice guy but is unwilling to change anything for his students. Very fast pace which covers tons of info but interesting course material - Use text website which is helpful in preparing for exams!

He's a nice teacher, class is boring and the tests are very hard. The average grade in my class of 80 was a 70% I hated going to his class every day
