Awesome Prof! I never cracked the textbook and still came out of the course with an A. Notes are VERY detailed with plenty of examples to help you understand. Go to class early... because he will sometimes start 5 mins before scheduled time.

His notes are very, very thorough. He repeats himself a LOT, but, although it may be boring at the time, it really pounds the material into your head and you do better on the exams and tests. I found his testing fair, and once again, a LOT of notes, but perfect for a transition course. P.S. If you ever get a chance, go see him in a school play!!
