Comment:

As a Science student who doesn't usually do great in English, I personally found it easy to get a decent grade. Take notes on every story/essay you do. Answer the sample essay prompts he gives in class and ask him to review them with you, he'll tell you exactly what you may need to do different. Overall, the class was fine.

He's not bad at all but a very tough grader. Also, he tends to get annoyed when students don't answer his questions in class correctly the first time (happened multiple times in my class). If you're a quiet person who doesn't answer questions in class than I would recommend you take him.

T-Fab is a great professor. He's friendly and provides suggestions and feedback to make your work better. He can be a little disorganized at times. This course had no tests, but there were weekly writing workshops.

Very clear with his expectations, tells you exactly what you need to know for the tests making it very easy to study and do well. He is very passionate about English AND teaching, and it shows. Not everyone does well in his class, but he is not a hard marker. I would definitely recommend him.

Comment:

Good prof, seems to genuinely care about his students. Very passionate about his subject, and generally very clear about what will be expected of students when writing exams. Relatively few assignments compared to most other first year english profs. Takes attendence and knows students by name. Enjoys it when students particiapte in class.

I found him very easy to listen to. I hung onto his every word because of the excitement in his voice. He took attendance and knew our names. Used all essays for testing but told us choices on what they would be and told us to write it then remember it for the test with examples! Marked tough but fair. listen to his suggestions and you'll do fine.
