If your a female, your grade will be better(likes to look at the opposite sex). This guy has been teaching stats for decades and has not changed his teaching style. He still uses overheads, and hates when students ask questions challenging him.

Being in Prof Berger classes was a real pleasure everyone at management should have. His ability to teach was definetly one of the best among all teachers. He is fun, smart and very clear.

Bored me to tears, repeats himself repetitively. Ambiguous grading procedure. Try to stretch class longer than necessary. Avoid at all cost. Take Prof. Kean instead. Again, he is very boring b/c he repeats himself over and over again.

Berger is a really great for discussion. Hes really funny and gives sample questions that are a lot like the ones on the tests. But I still think its better if you get Kean for discussion, but Berger is definitely the next best choice. He really knows his material usually class gets out a little early.

he stupifies the subject for you, so the material is very easy to understand. i was lucky enough to be in his honors class with less than 20 people. he'd start off by asking people what movies they saw. he hates it when people fall asleep in his class.

Berger's discussion sections are amazing. If you take SM 221 make sure to get him. He explains everything extremely well and class always ends early. And best of all he gives you practice problems that are extremely similar to the test questions.

The greatest professor I have ever had. He makes difficult material easy to understand. His notes are terrific. The martian batfish problem and some other problems were extremely tough, but they made me understand the material better; exams were fair.

Unquestionably one of the best professors in the School of Management. His enthusiasm for teaching is spectacular. Knows how to make a somewhat boring topic interesting. Also, a great sense of humor, constantly cracking jokes.
