He is such a sweetheart take him if you can. There are alot of writing assignments but they really help you learn how to write. He is a fair grader and lets you re-write for a better grade. Such a great teacher loved his class try to take him.

I love this man. He was my favorite teacher this semester, and will remain one of them. Had him for CWI I, and unfortunately could not get him for CWII. He is willing to work with you, review as much as necessary, is easy to relate to, and a fair grader. Gives extra credit for visiting him during his office hours or the writing center.<3 THIS MAN

Perhaps one of the best teachers here at Marist. If your taking any English class Maurer is a MUST. He makes class easy, fun, and interesting. He even lets you rewrite your papers up to two times to increase your grade, each rewrite automatically gets a +5, and if you take it to the writing center you get yet another +5.

Mr. Maurer is the best teacher I have ever had in my life. Truly cares about students. I hated writing before his class. Easy A, you can get extra credit on every assignment and rewrite everything for 5+. He's so nice and wants you to succeed.

Professor Maurer is a great teacher that is very helpful. You have to do about 6 essays throughout the semester that you can rewrite for a higher grade, and you can even rewrite the midterm. There is not a lot of reading involved, but you have a homework assignment almost every class. He is probably the best college writing teacher at marist.

Really nice. Almost too nice. Extremely easy grader. But he's too much of a pushover. You can make up some lame excuse for why you didn't do your paper and he'll give you an extension every time. And he's not critical of my work at all. How am I supposed to learn if he's not telling me what I'm doing wrong? He never teaches, too, just group work.

Extremely nice guy! He really cares about his class. Not a lot of work, but do the work that is assigned because it all adds up. He wants his class to pass, so he makes it difficult to fail. I really recommend him for the subject, not only does he know his stuff, but he will make sure you do too.

Professor Maurer is one of the easiest professors you can take for College Writing II. There are 6 papers, including the midterm, term paper, and the final. The four that he assigns you, you have to research.The papers can be long but you get to rewrite them for a higher grade! About 1-2 quizzes per semester. He is also very helpful as well.

This man is the best english teacher ever. He is so nice and helpful. He really tries to make the class as stress-less as possible. He lets you re-write your essays for a better grade, and he likes to proof read all your papers before they are due. Take this class, its easy and fun.
