He is a really funny guy, and i enjoyed lecture. He doesn't teach extremely clearly though, so try to pair up with other students to do the problem sets and you will be okay.

Professor French is a great person. However, his classes are do not focus on the topic he declares the class will be about that day. He is funny, which gives the class a more friendlier environment. But he doesn't explain the topics at hand very well.

Great guy! Made class real funny but doesn't teach the material too well. Used the textbook to learn about 80% of the material. Physics isn't the easiest class but if you consistently do the homework's and do the practice exams, there's no reason why you should do poorly in this class.

Please ignore the comment below, because you have to be severely unintelligent to do poorly in this class. It's a cakewalk and he practically hands out 100s. You even get to use a sheet of notes (front AND back) on both tests AND the final. Great guy, great class.

Awesome class,highly agreeable guy. i actually looked forward to going to this class. Havent taken any math in years, and had no problems. Stronlgly recommend taking physics of sound with him. great fun, great learning experience.

Lets you bring an index card with whatever information you want on it! If you do the homework and the practice sheets then you WILL do well on tests. He makes jokes all the time and is really funny. If you are taking physics, take with French! His outfits are very amusing too =]

Worst teacher I have ever had. Tried to get help several times. He mumbles and gives you the longest most complicated drawn out explinations. I had to drop the class because I would have failed otherwise. The first test average was like a 50. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS didn't learn anything and it really ended up screwing my schedule up.

Great class. Definitely the best of the semester. What better way to learn physics than through sports. Spends a lot of time reviewing concepts, and allows sheet of notes for tests, including the final. Always energetic and willing to help.

He seems very personable but if you actually approach him he's not. I told him that I had a tutor but he didn't even care! You have to have already completed calc before this class other wise it is almost impossible. I would have taken 204 if only there was someone else to teach it.

Not a very good professor. Encourages asking questions then insults you while answering. Assumes you know alot about physics and leaves out basic building block concepts. Gives review test and practice problems which dont come close to test questions
