I have nearly reached my PhD. in Political Science, and he is still one of the best profs I have ever had. Awesome. Show up, take notes, ask questions - you will succeed. He explains everything so well, lectures are very well structured, and he is an engaging speaker. If you are dumb or lazy, you will not like him, and he probably won't like you!

Comment:

Dr. Gecelovsky is very knowledgeable in his field and a good instructor. Going to class and taking good notes is ESSENTIAL, as he doesn't even use powerpoint. My only complaint is the courseware (written by a former prof) is expensive ($80) and poorly written (there is bits of humour throughout, though that make it somewhat bearable to read).

Very unfair marks on the essay that went against his personal theory. Veryyy arrogant. People who chat and fiddle throughout the whole class never get spoken to even though they are distracting. his lectures are all over the map. overall i was not impressed with his teaching.

Unfair marker when your paper goes against his ideology. Also, he wasn't available in his office, not even during his office hours. I got the impression that he didn't like me and when I asked him a question he seemed intolerant and rude; he gave off a bad air of arrogance.
