Paul is a nice guy, but a terrible prof. He does not know how to teach. He seems to know the material but cannot teach. The students are required to teach themselves outside class.

If you had to come here to see how Hriljac is as a teacher your most likely def. He is well known across campus as being a terrible teacher that doesn't teach you anything. I didn't learn a single thing in that class. Most everyone in my class used Chegg to do the homework since he never taught us how to do it. Even the book he uses can't teach.

Is too far ahead of himself. Doesn't really take the time to make sure we are on the same page, and if we aren't, he doesn't know how to break it down. Doesn't get basic enough and goes too fast. Packs too much into a single class period

He is super smart, but can't teach. Very hard to follow, too much example but none get understand and he just keep moves forward to next problem. The whole classes are just him doing all the example problem and students just watching and listening him doing them all.

Awesome Prof. Class is informal and very learned. Lectures less of teaching at you and more like an intellectual discussion that slowly reveals the material. One important note: Merciless when the grading pen comes out, pay attention to detail on exams

This guy is impossible to follow in the world of Calculus. Do not take this class with this professor unless you are absolutely gifted in mathematics and can do it all on your own because chances are you will feel like you are learning it on your own.

Paul is a man who obviously knows a lot about Mathematics and knows it well. Though he is a Wizz at Matlab, he teaching style is in my opinion, scattered and nearly impossible to follow. Speaking of Tangents XP ...stick to the subject when lecturing please. I would not reccomend this teacher for non-independent learners.

One of the worse professors I've had. Horrible lectures! Test reviews don't cover material on test. Do NOT take a class with this man. And he says everything is easy when it obviously isn't as that is why everyone is failing.

Please! He is a nice man and probably a very good computer engineering or computer science professor. But if you take him for calculus drop the class! The guy makes mistake after mistake; takes up class with the same example problems in the book; and his tests are ridiculously incoherent.

Easy to pass, got an A w/o studying. Didn't learn diddly squat. Got more knowledge out of one substitute lecture w/Shinn than the whole semester w/Hriljac. Whenever I need to use the material for engineering, I have to go back and teach myself. Not impressed.
