I avoided this teacher when I was not serious about school. Once I decided to dedicate myself to my education, I wished I had the teacher for all my classes. He is challenging, but if you are interested in learning, he is one of the best.

Paul should'nt be teaching low level classes. Heard he's a good teacher at higher levels, but puts 0, nothing, NOTTA for effort to people learning the basics of accounting. His mindframe is "if some kids dont wanna learn about acct, im not going to teach it to anyone!" he doesnt realize acct's not for everyone...thanks for nothin paul! u wan*er

He has interesting lectures...the problem is what is in the textbook is not what is on the quizzes. There is nothing to study and refer to. To his credit...the class was not doing well, so he changed his teaching style for us last week and is now using the textbook. Good considering we pay big $ for it!

By far the worst teacher I've ever had. I worked extremely hard in this class and got nothing out of it because Paul makes you feel worthless.I got 62% in the class. Then I got 96% in ACCT 140 the next semester. Pauls tests are completely unfair and he does not help you. Stick up for yourself students have rights too!

Tough class that is for sure. I didn't get his teaching style at all. He knows his stuff but what I thought I needed to know on tests was not what ended up being tested. To his credit our class was difficult to deal with and maybe that was a factor. I've also noticed positive reviews from higher level courses so maybe 110 isn't for him.

The people that gave him bad reviews obviously were bad students. If you paid attention, didn't disrupt the class and studied you would do well. He didn't use the textbook much because the textbook was useless. He made accounting more fun than any other prof I've had. It's too bad he left because the 110 students were lazy and immature.

PAul A.K.A. William Shatner is the worst teacher i have ever had. The stories he tells the class are somewhat enjoyable, but besides that his sense of humor is very dry, and never seems happy teaching the class. The textbook was rarely used, and the tests had questions we had never even learned before.

Paul is one of the worst teachers I can imagine. His tests reflect close to nothing that he has taught in the coarse. This is primarily due to the fact that he doesn't TEACH in his classes or show up to office hours if you need help with the matterial you were meant to (apperently) teach yourself. DON'T Take his classes if you want to learn or pass

This teacher has no right being in this class. We didnt even go into the book until week 5 of the course, but on week 4 we had a test involving several items that were to be discussed later on. Almost noone did well in it, and the only people who did do good were ones that had taken similar courses before, meaning that he didnt teach anything.

William Shatner look alike doesn't give any useful instruction, apparently students are responsible for learning the basics all on their own, without any notice! Paul offers little to no explanation on projects and takes no interest in the business programs IBC (integrated business program). He openly disses students and their work.Terrible teacher

Very helpful, lots of people complained because its a hard class, work hard ask paul for help outside of class and a B+ or A is not hard to get. Slack off and then blame the teacher for you not working hard enough and you deserve the crap mark you got.

I thought he was a great teacher. He is a very hard teacher but at least you learn something in his class and can use it outside of school. His tests are hard but if you do the homework (and I mean the 15 hours at least outside of class) you can get a good grade.

For a rediculously hard course as it is, Paul made no effort to TEACH any of the material. He expected us to learn it outside that classroom (15 hours outside of class!!!) and then made sure we were on the right track during class. REALLY hard tests, stupid easy final.
