Such a sweet man! He really tries to make everyone love music as much as he does. As someone with no musical talent I do not think this was a difficult class and he is so helpful when you get confused so do not be afraid to ask!

seriously the nicest man in the world. he does go really fast, but i took him during the summer session. i hate music more than anything and have no experience, and he was so helpful. i never really got anything he taught but he kept giving me 90's and higher on all the tests, and i KNOW i didnt deserve that. he is just awesome.

really annoyingly fast paced, really unclear, tells really terrible jokes every 2 minutes in a monotone mumble. the content is easy to understand but he's just probably the most boring professor to sit and listen to that I've encountered

he's a useless conductor. If you actually enjoy playing in an orchestra or band, don't take him. he doesn't know how to conduct or what he's doing. The concert was actually stopped half way through because it sounded so terrible the orchestra/band had to start over....

Took his music theory class. Great. Can miss three classes. Love this teacher. May be difficult to take this music theory class if you have absolute no music background, otherwise its a breeze. You even learn how to play the piano. Pure awesomeness.

I hadnt taken any music before and i got an A. As long as you go to all of the classes you will understand. He does talk very fast tho, just ask him to slow down and he will. If you miss a test, he is very nice about it and lets you make it up, answers any Q's. 5 tests, playing a music piece, writing a piece of music and a final (if under 90% avg)

Easiest music class ever, definitly take him if you just need to get music out of the way. If you keep an A average you get exempt from the final! Just be there the day before all the tests and he'll give you everything you need to know.

If you can read music/play piano def. take this clas--easy A. If not, just let him know if you dont understand something b/c he moves kinda fast. hes great though, lets you correct your tests for partial credit to boost your grade. hes a nice guy, easy class
