Sands is an all-around great guy. He's clear and concise, and just really quite likeable. His tests are not easy, but he wants his students to succeed. He tends to offer plenty of extra credit options. He excels at what he does.

Great guy. You can really tell he's loves what he's talking about. He's really funny and keeps your interest. Tests aren't hard if you read the chapter and listen in class. He's got a great smile, too!

Class is easy as long as you do the study guides. Lectures are interesting at times, but not really on the tests. Sometimes his arguements on theological positions seem illogical so avoid him if you are a philosophy major. Extremely nice guy, and quite funny.

Sands was not hard, but not easy. An A in his class is doable, but requires work. A B is probably easily attainable. He doesn't check, so keep up with reading on your own, and the study guides are worth more than extra credit, they will help you pass his tests. I got two C exams by not doing em.

Awesome professor, provides you with everything you need to do well, has study guides, lecture power points available online, all you have to do is study the lectures and do the study guide to make an A, test questions aren't tricky or confusing at all, very straight to the point, take him!

nice guy with a sense of humor. former pastor so he tends to get off the subject a bit, but nothing horrible. I like his format of weekly 10 question tests and then a final, you get to drop 4. Good guy, I'd recommend him!
