He wasn't the greatest professor but he wasn't that bad. He is not very helpful and lectures were boring. If you have issues with the material...Go to your T.A.s. Also keep up with readings. I ended up getting a B+.

It was a hard class, but it was not impossible to do well. I did well and I know other people who did as well. Go to class, and try as much as you can to listen (it was hard for me..since classes were at 8:30) and just study lol

I wasn't even going to rate anyone until I saw all the negative comments. He really is a nice guy and I feel like he did his best to keep the class entertaining. I found sitting in the front row helpful, as he does tend to see you raise your hand to ask questios more when you sit in the front. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Bad prof, unclear, completely useless. If at all possible get out of his class while you can, if not you're better off to cut your losses and just read the text book front to back before exams, very little of it is on what he says in class.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure some students find this professor good. I don't. Any professor that tells you that he tends to ramble and that it's up to you to be able to follow...is full of it. I'll say this for him though, he did make me realize that psychology is not for me.

Prof. Stager is a great. He responds to student email promptly. His course is challenging. I took AP psych in high school, and I find his course refreshingly tough. It's Psychology as a Science. :-) It's a lot of work, so don't take it if it's not your major or if you don't have a deep interest in it. Work hard and you will learn SO much.

In all of my years of school I have never come across a professor so mean. He does not give us ANY course material to help no power point or anything he does not use web ct or moodle to put up information basically if u dont come 2 class your screwed and he goes sooo fast u can barely take down notes.. Stay away from this prof. He's absolutely incompetent, his exams are impossible. This is university--I can understand that the material needs to be challenging, but his grading is beyond that. Just do yourself a favour and stay away from him. You've been warned.

Honestly, his tests are REALLY hard and he makes them very tricky, so even if you know the material, he usually finds a way to screw you over... BUT if you attend all his classes and read over the textbook VERY THOROUGHLY you should be able to get a DECENT mark in his class.... I mean DECENT... dont bother striving for high grades in Stagers class

Worst Prof ever! He talks too fast, does not let you copy the slides, and can not explain nothing clearly. Looks like he tries to make students to hate psychology, because he probably hate it himself. When I read the textbook I understand everything, but when I listen to him nothing makes sence. And I still love psychology.

today was the worst snowfall in the past 63 years in toronto.. i was a 2 hour drive away and it ended up taking 4 hours, I got there 15 minutes late and i forgot my ID, he decided to not let me in to write it, he has no heart and he doesn't care about students he just makes it as hard as possible... NEVER TAKE HIS CLASS!!!!!
