Comment:
I chose to take a class with Dr Valliant as the title seemed very interesting as it was about clinical psychology. I'm doing really well in the class but never have a been in a class where the prof was so useless and mal informed as with Dr Valliant. Take it for the easy, but it's boring af.

He is a very respectful teacher and he really understands the subject he teaches. But he doesn't post any of his lectures online, so be ready to type or write a lot. All of his tests are multiple choice, therefore, I strongly suggest reading the textbook!

First, you dont need to buy the textbook. come to class, right down the notes and pay attention. read the notes in your spare time and you will get 80+. he even gives a short break halfway through class which is always nice. very little effort is required to do well. take his class

Very good prof. Doesn't post notes online but is very helpful and gives an entire class of review prior to each test. Attend class, participate in the experiments for the 5% bonus and study a few minutes per night and you are guaranteed a 90. Quizzes are easy and overall a great prof.

Dr. Paul Valliant was my thesis advisor - I nabbed him in 3rd year March because he is just the best. He is one of the greatest proffessors at LU, and I was so happy to be in his class and be his thesis student. He is hilarious, compassionate, and he will just have regular conversations with you for hours. Recommend!

Best Prof ever. Lectures are slightly monotone, and the movies are outdated, but informative and to the point. He's also very helpful if you need him. Definitely recommend any class he teaches.

Not the most interesting class in the world, but easy enough to makes notes on the power point. Never opened the textbook or studied, would recommend if you have a passing interest in psych and want to get a great mark (although some of the tests can be confusing). An overall good teacher, but has little to no interaction with students.

(first year psych)- not a good prof if you want to learn something. strictly PowerPoint.. not engaging. Class generally sucked. It is a good class if you just want to pass. the tests are easy.

Quite clearly wanted to be there less than I did... he ran out of time in the year due to his 15 minute breaks in the middle of the class!
