I may be a bit biased in my review because Dr. Doob was always extremely nice to me, however, no one can deny she is an extremely knowledgable professor. She made me love learning about poetry, and was constantly willing to help us. She wants you to succeed. She does occasionally lose her patience, but it's so subtle you might not notice.

A bit intimidating at times but once you get to know her better she is very comfortable, helpful to students and incredibly sincere. She loves poetry and knows how to make the course content interesting. I loved the choice of creative assignments. Lyric Poetry was a great experience.

Highly educated.Extremely smart.Very current.Love her sense of humour.Cares deeply about her students, knew my name after the first week.Love her wadrobe, especially her nails!Sincerely LOVES poetry, which makes this class the best I have ever taken.
