Penny is absolutely amazing. It can seem overwhelming sometimes the amount of assignments you have to do, but by paying attention in class it can really help you and shape your assignments. Always ask her for help or extensions if need be. She can be SO understanding. Don't be intimidated by her knowledge. LEARN FROM HER. 3

If you put in the effort you will do well. Go to class, do readings, contribute & you'll be fine. Penny knows her stuff and gets excited when you analyze things the way she would, but she won't turn down alternative views if you support them. Take her class! But prepare to do work.

Very scholarly. She is brilliant, but seems like she doesn't like students too much. As long as you read the material, come to class, and contribute ideas you should get a decent mark. She is very picky about MLA format in essays.

Very demanding. She makes you work for everything. If you don't read the assignments she will know and she'll make you feel guilty for not having done it. Incredibly fulfilling. Loved the class
