Comment:

Despite the 750 word paper you have to write every day, you have to take a practice final on BB, which is graded, and the exams had NOTHING to do with what we discussed in class. Our entire class failed the practice..the highest score was 65% that quarter, and so he had to curve the entire class. The final exam was strictly from text, and with the exception of two questions, none of it pertained to our in class discussions.

Comment:

He is one of the coolest teachers that I've ever had, he is into the material and enjoys teaching and coming to class everyday. Plus his methods of teaching are really easy. He is very willing to help you and is light hearted and not threatening.

Comment:

Lots and lots of writing. No real paper, everything is on blackboard. 750 word journals EVERY day, plus huge research papers weekly. However, he had good information on things that I wouldn't have known otherwise, very anti-political, the government is dicking us over kind of attitude about drugs.

Once he gets going he gets clearer and more interesting. Gives good weekly projects that requred me to do research on my own and discuss it in a group. I learned a lot. Has an odd sense of humor, has a kind heart, but need to stay aware of his moods.

A testament to the general sub-standard staff of EWU Psyc Dept. Beyond his major incompetence as an instructor he also troubles his students with a dearth of personal problems and issues. Run like hell from any class he offers!
