Lectures are pretty boring but he's an ok prof overall. His exams are fair and he gives sample questions from the test beforehand.

Reviews worth 30% are easy if you put some time and effort in. Exams are a bit tougher (50% from lecture material, 50% from textbook). This course covers a lot of material, lecture can feel dry - make sure to stay on top of readings.

He's okay. The reviews are worth 30% of your grade, but they're ridiculously easy. He also does 10% participation. Gives you some of the questions that will be on the exam ahead of time (not all of them though, you still have to study). Overall the class was pretty easy, if a little boring. I would probably take a class with him again

Pete is a great prof, he is very experienced and well-organized. However his tests are absolutely insane. I put a ridiculous amount of effort into this course, basically to see disappointing examination grades. Fortunately you can make up for that with the heavily weighted (40%) lab component. If you're willing to work, you will reap reward.

Found the lectures very dry to attend, I found myself zoning out majority of the time. However grading criteria and course content makes up for it. 3 reviews worth 10% each, 10% participation, and a 30% midterm, 30% final. Both final and midterm tested from lecture and the text. Strongly recommend taking your own notes in class (powerpoint sucked)

he is a good professor, his classes were excellently prepared and explained everything clear, not very hard to get a fair grade.

Great lecture, interesting examples, 3 easy review assignments, 1 midterm, 1 final. His lectures were interesting and I loved his lecture materials. But the tests were tough. It was 50 from lecture notes and 50 from the textbook, and it was pretty different. There's a lot to study, but if you read the textbook and attend class, it is easy A

Comment:
This class is easy except the final. 3x10% reviews, 10% class participation. Cruise the midterm because he's so far covered no material. His classes then became overly specific about info he doesn't even test on. If you want to talk about speech and phonemes in convoluted terms, take this. Go to class because he tests examples not in the notes.

10% participation, 3x10% article reviews(easy marks) and a 2x30% midterm and final. If you memorize the slides, and read the textbook, you'll be fine. However, his lectures are really dry, long, and boring. The text is required, and helps a lot but is extremely expensive ($150+)! You also need above 90% to get an A, not curved.

He really doesn't enunciate. This definitely hinders the learning process, especially when he's trying to introduce new terms or concepts in class. I do not want to take any other classes taught my him because of the poor delivery.

Worst prof I've ever had. His notes are terrible! 1-3 points that barely tell you anything! I have no idea what I'm learning! There's no structure to lectures, I wish I could switch into another class but there wasn't any others. Plus he stopped using iclicker and made everyone pay for PollEverywhere instead. DONT TAKE HIS CLASS

Everything was shared equally over grading, such as assignments, midterm, final and class participation. He is clear but can talk a little quietly, even when using a mic. Whenever you have a question he will give a good answer. Everything from lecture notes are used on exams, and textbook goes more into depth for deeper understanding.

3 very short and easy reviews worth 10% each. 10% iClicker participation. 30% midterm and 30% final. It's a good idea to go to class not only for the easy participation marks but it'll allow you to add to his notes which are fairly vague. Exam questions are 50% lecture material and 50% textbook - so don't think you can pass without the text.

The house material is pretty much a review of Psyco 104 with a little bit more material. The prof is very organized however, the terminology used on slides often makes the concept confusing, which is why you need the textbook. His exams are easy and reviews are a easy mark booster. Attend class, as there are iclicker marks(10%)

The most boring professor ever! I couldn't stay focus on the topics he was talking about because he didn't seem like he had much interest in the topic. His lectures are also very confusing. I could sit there and pay attention and write down everything he says, but still not understand a single thing. Marking was easy though. READ THE TEXTBOOK!!!

A nice guy, but not an effective instructor. Extremely confusing explanations and a tendency to mutter. Staying awake is a challenge in lecture; textbook saved me. He is very knowledgeable about the material, however. Reviews were marked fairly easy.

Pete loves the material he teaches which makes an otherwise boring class at least somewhat interesting. No textbook, if you study his notes you'll do fine on the tests.
