Your grades are based off of how much he likes you. If you're lucky enough to get a test that ask about vocabulary you'll get an easy A. but any kind of free response question is graded arbitrarily. His lectures have nothing to do with the tests, and they drag on. The only good thing about his class is that he ends it early.

Please, just please never take this professor. His grading system is something that pops into his head. It doesn't exist. If you're that one kid who get's A's on his quizzes, you'll get an A. For the rest of you, kiss his ass and you'll get a B. Don't try at all and you'll get a C. Trust me on this. Be a teacher's pet. I don't know how I got a B.

I liked him very much because I got an easy B in his class. It was one of the few classes that I passed this semester at Manhattan College. The only problems that I had with his class was that he really didn't teach anything. You couldn't help being bored! Learned absolutely nothing in his class.

worse teacher I've ever had. if you get on his good side you will get a B (which is 1 person) everyone else just gets a C i dont think he even reads the test. The test you cant study for because he just gives you a grade he feels like giving you. avoid him he is awful

One of the most uncaring professors I've seen. Will never discuss grades because you get what you deserve and will even mark right answers wrong because he feels they're wrong. Isn't clear and doesn't teach well enough. Getting an A will require more work than you imagine

This professor has his pros and cons. I had him for government my first semester of college. His class is very boring so you will probably fall asleep, however he does know what he's talking about. He assigns A LOT of reading, but if you pay attention in class you wont have to read it all. Test are relatively easy Look elsewhere

Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and interesting. Though his tests are impossible to prepare for.. Pay careful attention during the semester and come to class on time because he will pause the class to stare at you if you disturb even his role call. If you don't mind B's, participate a lot and you don't want to write long papers, he's your man.

Very old and hard of hearing. It makes attempting to voice your opinion uncomfortable. Tests are very poorly made but the final is fairly easy. The class was a joke but the grades he gives out aren't. It is very difficult to do well if you do poorly on the tests (which most will). Stray away to avoid a headache.

this class is horrible. he bases 30% of the grade on class participation which would be fine if he didn't always push his opinion on everyone. his tests are to general which is bad because he never agrees with you. plus he made his own book and wants you to pay $20 for it. he never gives A's so your GPA will drop. NEVER take any of his classes

I took him last semester, and still cringe when i see him. His last name is quite fitting. Regardless if you study and know what your talking about, his opinion is always correct, and you can never win an argument. His tests were impossible for me, and i got a C+, though i failed nearly every test. dont take his class. Honestly, save 6 months.

Don't take this class. All lectures don't really apply to later tests. He grades based on his opinion, not based on the book material. He is very funny, extremely smart, and very experienced. Even if you study for the test, the test material comes from his mind. Nearly never gives out an 'A'.

Roots of Gov: He's a hard grader. Do the readings and pay attention to his lectures. I didn't miss any classes and I think it helped in the long run. His tests are almost impossible. Be sure to participate in lectures and debates. He's a smart guy, knows his stuff.

Probably one of the oldest Teachers i have ever seen. he is a nice guy but he grading is completly off. Be Careful....he basically gives you a grade for the semester in the first week. He is all about 1st impression on either a test or how you answer questions in class. You have to particioate otherwise you fail. Participation is 30% of you grade..
