This prof is the only philosophy prof at guelph who actually seems like a philosophy prof. he is an absolute genius, and he is very willing to help with any problem you have. some people say he is boring, i disagree; his passion for the subject matter is sort of contagious. Take any class you can with this guy.

It is true that his lectures are not necessarily the most fun you will ever have, but they are incredibly interesting and clear. He is also the kindest prof I have met and he loves to hear his students. Very intelligent and very philosophical, aka. there is no clear cut answer... ever.

Attend classes and you will be fine. He's interesting and often funny in his own eccentric way. Very thorough understanding of the material. Easy midterms.

Shy, quiet guy. Overall generous marking on the midterm and final . If you read the text and listen to this guy (sometimes he's boring) you will do well. He did a great job of explaining the texts that were hard to read or confusing!

A very kind man who simply cannot speak in front of an audience; he gets flustered and stutters at the simplest of questions. As such, his lectures are often hard to follow. His marking is very fair and he is always available after class. The work is straightforward - he's clear when he writes and confusing when he speaks.

He really knows his stuff. Dont bother buying the textbook, its a waste of money and he only tests you on stuff he teaches in class. Kind of boring sometimes, but knew how to get the point across

He's so smart but it is a boring class. He's pretty shy and his lecture style isn't great, but he's good to talk to outside of the classroom and he tries his best. I feel kinda bad for him sometimes because he seems really nervous even though he knows his stuff. Good guy, not so great lecturer.

I found him very unclear in his lectures. To me, it felt like he basically read the text back to us which didn't help clarify ideas that were complex. Overall, he was a very nice prof, but he needs to work on his lecture style.

He's a great guy, and he tries his best to answer every question as best he can (even when the question is entirely off-the-wall and bears no relevance to the topic at hand...). His lectures can get tedious at times, but it's normally very interesting.

The most amazingly monotonous individual i have ever met. Explains with a kind of mental stammer. Truly, the best incarnation of the total irrelevance of analytic philosophy. Keep up the good work... i no longer have insomnia
