Comment:

Early morning classes are a shame because I would have loved his class 10x better in the afternoon. Very funny and nice guy. Knows his stuff and loves sharing stories to help you better understand. Go to class, he takes attendance and its worth it. Always group projects, super easy. Two tests that are multiple choice and totally fair. No surprises

Comment:

Tests are pretty tricky, however if you study you will do fine, and he tends to give the whole class and extra 3-5% on each test. He's a big fan of group projects, however these are grade boosters! His lectures are boring as ever, but he cuts them 20 minutes short everytime so you can meet with your group. Easy marks if you put some work in!

Great prof! His lectures were pretty long, but you can tell he takes pride in his courses and he takes attendance everyday. Be expected to do a group project, but they are a grade booster!! Tests are difficult, but you will pass if you study. Two midterms and no final exam!

He lectured every class and then gave time at the end to get into the groups and work on the group project. The marks on the projects are good grade boosters. He can be dry sometimes but he actually works in the area so he knows what he talking about.

Comment:

McCormack offers very interesting courses. Worth getting up in the morning. No final exam: grade is divided between 2 midterms and a group project during the term. He loves creativity. I took every course he offered and enjoyed all of them.

Peter is a great teacher. There's two tests and a group project in this class, the rest is lectures. You have to do the readings and actually attend the class to learn and do good on the tests. The group projects are great. And he's always willing to help & listen! Take this course :)

I really disliked him as a prof. I have never gotten under an A in any psychology course until I took him, and I worked really hard. His lectures were interesting, although his notes were scattered. It was his tests which were ridiculous. He would have to scale them 10% EVERY SINGLE time..Clearly they were unreasonable, but he made no effort to mak

This Prof. is what every Prof. should be. Anyone with a negative experience never took the time to talk to him, or was to lazy to do work. His group projects can be a fight, but he is more than willing to help out with things get tough.Thanks again Peter for being the best Prof at STU!!

He is the best prof that I have had in psychology. He makes class interesting, by using lots of examples. His test are hard but if you study from your text you will be ok.

had him for two classes and am not a huge fan. he asks for u to email him and discuss any problems, if you do he either ignores your email or sends you back a one sentence response which has nothing to do with yours. The group work is a joke, and his tests are constructed to be overly difficult. not necessary when the clas is a review of intro.

All in all, I'm not a fan. In my experience with him he will not go out of his way to help his students. At no point did he come across as a happy individual. I will never take one of his courses again...but that is just my opinion.

He's a fair professor who treats students respectfully. I don't mind the group project at all. Someone here said he has favorites; ALL professors have favorites: the students who listen to the lectures and do the work. That's common sense.

What an ASS!!! He is not a great prof and his class is so boring. The group projects are a waste of time since he gets you to research Liverpool (his research area) and you won't learn much. If you can get a different prof you should!! He clearly has favorites and it is very hard to speak to. DROP!
