Highly recommended! Dr. Meidlinger engages all of his students in the classroom and keeps the conversation on topic. He is very clear when he speaks and asks the important questions. I learned a lot in his courses. He does have high expectations, just be sure to come to class and participate and you will do fine.

Peter pays special attention to all the young females in his classes, he lacks awareness as to how obvious this claim is. I sat through many of his boring classes and listened to his muddled interpretations of various texts. No, he did not like my writing style nor content. For fun I sometimes send him a message inquiring if he still has a job.

Meidlinger really brought the material to life. He is one of the brightest, most entertaining teachers I have ever had! He awakened a new appreciation for the written word in me, and always kept class very free, easy-going and totally enjoyable. He has high expectations for written work and class discussions, but is eager to embrace creativity.

Condescending, loves to hear himself talk and completely impressed with himself. Doesn't seem like a good or nice person, which makes it difficult to respect him. Obviously knows his stuff, but it was hard to get into his class.

Meidlinger makes you work, but you're always rewarded for it. He is one of the best professors I have ever had. Anyone who doesn't enjoy his class is obviously just looking for an easy ride. His classes are wonderful because he is so passionate about what he teaches. And he's very encouraging and helpful. Finally, a Drury prof who's not boring!
