Comment:

Very respected teacher. Lectures can be dull but Peter always tries to find a way to make them interesting. Show up to class and you will pass no problem. Decent marker and tests and assignments can be difficult, But look past that and a great teacher/class all in all.

I have never liked a math teacher more. He really is passionate about his job. He offered BC geography brain teasers every once and awhile for a quick reset/math break. The only think I struggled with is when we was writing on the board. He wouldn't write all of in between math steps , and as I struggle with math, this would have been easier

incredible math teacher- this is the first time I've looked forward to math class, and the first time I've really understood it. his teaching style is fantastic, and he encourages participation. love his catch phrases and jokes. I always leave class with a smile

Yes he expects you to work for your grade, but if you regularly attend class you will pass, do the journal. He only "picks" on people because he wants to make sure you understand the mathematics of statistic formula that all seem to meld together as one by the end of the semester. I took it once, and failed because I didn't give it my all, do work!

Worst teacher I've ever had, bar none. And statistics is dry enough without making it all about soccer. Arrogant, unpleasant man. Understood nothing he taught. I've since retaken it with a different prof and aced it, so I know it's not me.

Peter was by far the worst teacher i have experienced at tru. Liked to pick and choose who he like. "And hating it!" made it very difficult to come to class everyday for me. i do not recommend him to anyone needing a stats class.

Absolutely HATED Peter. I was not "lovin it" at all! I went into this class scared of math to begin with but he loved singling people out and embarrassing them infront of the class! Unapproachable, ignorant and arrogant proff if you ask me! I ended up withdrawling! I dreaded going to his class.

Have had him for both stats and math. He's actually really helpful and saves you a ton of money by providing self-made course guidebooks. Corny jokes though. He doesn't cater to the "smart" students, btw; he expects students to participate in the in-class problems, and a lot don't. You might struggle if you're shy, but welcome to the real world.

Worst teacher i have ever had. Usually like math related courses, however I hated class because of him. Hardest marker there is. And you have to do this "journal" that he gives you no outline on. Safe to say, avoid him at all costs! he picks favourites and is very unhelpful.

very difficult teacher. plays MAJOR favourites (the most I have ever experienced). used a text that he created (very very hard to follow). he can be pretty funny but is also extremely negative ex: one of the first things he said to the class was that a good portion of us were going to fail... thanks for the motivation peter!

When I found out I needed math for my minor, I was horrified.. but I'm "lovin' it!" Sure he singles out students when he sees they're confused, but then takes the time to help that student. Great dialogue during the class, and makes sure everyone understands. Obviously cares about the students. "Geography time" = worth showing up on a friday!
