Didn't bell curve for Math 1131. Average is probably C, would've been nice if average was around C+ instead, especially considering some of his questions on the exam were confusing and misleading.

He's skillful. An expert! He may seem impatient answering students' questions after lecture, but he does curve. I took his math 2131, made quite a few mistakes in final, expecting to get an A or B+, but he gave me an A+.

Let me preface this by saying I am not the strongest math student. That being said he is very nice and very reasonable. He lectures in such a manner that you are rarely ever lost. Combine his class with extra help in the stat labs and you should be fine.

This prof is sure to be the best prof in York math! Very responsible and explains everything clearly in the lecture! his lecture notes is clear but may be hard to recognize at first. Go to every class and take notes is enough, books are not necessary. Midterm is very easy, final is hard but if you do the homework it will be ok.

really good prof, explains concepts in a clear way. he does not use the textbook at all, so u just need to know what he teaches in class. assignments are easy and prepare you for the midterm and final. the midterm and final were not hard, u just need to pay attention in class and take good notes. approachable has no accent like many math teachers.

Prof is friendly and old fashioned. Attendance is optional, but his lectures are thorough so sit at the front and take notes. Forget the textbook, he doesn't play by the book! Assignments are not worth much, but they prepare you well for the midterm / final. Midterm was much easier than the final. No cheat-sheet allowed so start memorizing!

An amazing professor. Took his stat class this summer. Have had many other profs for stats, but he's the best one that there is!! I would recommend him 1000%.

Just one word... Awesome!! Just refer to his notes you will be good with the subject. The professor literally makes his notes and writes it for the class and tries to make things easy to understand and also shows practical application for the same. He is highly qualified and knows what he is doing.

Definitely one of the best math profs at York, and personally the best I've had. Don't skip classes, lectures are more important than he textbook! He's extremely organized, tries hard to be clear, and you always know exactly what's expected. Expect the following- tough assignments, easier midterm, tough exam, final grade higher than you expect

He is the textbook. The class is a note taking session and he does do step-wise proof but it is hard to follow---he wrote so fast and keep erasing the formula. He is not very helpful in office hour and the final might be harder. but consider this school there is rarely good prof who could teach these course. I would recommend him.

His class is just about copying the notes. Had him during S2.He is clear but rushing though. T/F question and hard final. He is approachable if you ask. But he covered so little and made us so busy. We get so little help for doing his assignment. Be careful you might end up with a bad grade easily.

I took his class in summer school. His notes seem clear when going through the lecture but once i start trying to study on my own they were no help to me. On that point he never assigns practice questions from the textbook or even mentions it at all. Which made it really difficult for someone who sucks at math to do well.

Prof Peskun is a nice guy. He keeps writing on all definition and all proofs in class and not much time is left to explain the concept itself. No notes posted and no course material posted on line. You have to work hard like crazy to Ace the course

*Excellent* prof! Seriously. I had such low hopes for this course, but Prof. Peskun presented everything in a remarkably clear, logical manner. This man really knows how to teach intro stats. I'm not saying he made stats "fun", but he took most of the pain and confusion out of it...to my relief. (And he speaks perfect English, which helps!)

I was surprised by just how difficult he turns a somewhat manageable course. He doesn't really use the textbook, his assignments are exponentially more difficult than what he shows you in class. Not to mention when you ask for help he says "Read the lecture Notes. Avoid at all costs unless you want to kill yourself repeatedly for a half-decent grade
