Amazing prof! Interesting course on Spanish history that really teaches you about a side of European history you wouldn't have learned in high school. Grading is very fair and it is not hard to do well if you go to class, participate, and read the textbook! Definitely my favorite prof at Queen's, even considering taking Spanish if he's teaching it!

Prof Thompson is a gem, hes so nice and friendly to every student and passionate about the subject. He doesn't talk down on you as an instructor he learns beside you and with you. LLCU is the best kept secret at queens we had like 12 people in the class. Wakeup and take the class!

I took Peter's class The Dynamic History of Spain and it was my favourite class of the semester by a long shot. He was so refreshingly passionate about Spain and Spanish culture. Although he has the tendency to speak a bit quickly, he will repeat key points if you ask. Fair grader and easy assignments. He truly wants you to do well and enjoy!
