He is by far the funniest professor on this campus. He makes learning fun (something that not many professors do.) He DOES cuss, quite often, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll have a blast in this class. it's an EASY A!!!

Great teacher, good personality. It's a shame to see him retire at the end of the year. He's 62 and has more charisma and energy than most 18- and 19-year-olds. He did cuss a little too much for my liking, but I learned SO much when it comes to politics.

Phil is one funny guy! Out of all the teachers I have ever had he is by far the easiest to understand. He makes a slideshow with Power Point for every class and even posts the slides on the internet. The class is very easy but there are some annoying short papers to write. Take this class!

Folks here using "your" instead of "you're" got an A in this class, which speaks volumes about the astounding easiness of this course. Still, it's a fair amount of work!
