I recommend taking any course he is teaching as he is approachable, understanding and always willing to help. He doesn't force you to talk for participation, which is amazing. Just do the readings and you'll be fine.

Absolutely great prof. Went into this class with a huge dread thinking how boring economic geography is as a subject but man oh man did the prof change that for us?! Absolutely brilliant, he is. He is super into the subject and made it very interesting and enjoyable. All one had to do was attend his class and listen and you would do well in class.

One of my favourite profs at York. Intelligent, clear, classy, helpful and easy to talk to. Your TA's will probably be garbage though - inexperienced markers. The prof does his best to make sure they mark accurately.

Honestly, the nicest man ever. Very approachable, always smiling and willing to help students. Best course i have taken in a long time. It might seem a bit overwhelming at first but it's not that bad once you get organized~ NO EXAM!!! Dont even take notes! Best 4th yr geo class ever!
