I took Dustin for ecology and it was the hardest class i've taken. I studied my butt off, went to every single class, and ended up with a C-. If you do not have to have this class for your major (hes the only one who teaches this class) DO NOT take him. Very unclear.

STEAR CLEAR!Do not take him. He will ruin your GPA. I worked my butt off in his class and still only got a C. Tests are multiple choice and essay.The essay is easy to do well on but the multiple choice are impossible.The lab reports, research project and research essay are tons of work but will end up helping your grade.His lectures make no sense.

HARD!Tests are multiple choice and a few essays, he's not too tough on grading the essays but the multiple choice questions are insane. Know every graph he puts on the board and how to figure things out from it that he doesn't cover and know every number he says. Lab is 3+ hr hike thru woods each week and you write 2 2+ page papers on it each week.

Ecology: Biggest jerk in the Biology department. Completely arrogant. Lectures were boring. Tests are multiple choice, true false, fill in the blank, and always 2-3 pages of hand written essays. Worst class I took in my 4 years of Biology. Run away.

do not buy the book and don't read the readings in his notebook of articles they are never needed. tests are very tricky but you go over them as a class and the ones that everyone got wrong you'll prolly get points back for. not an easy class at all. just study your notes and hope you get a B.

I had him last spring. I thought he was really cool & even enjoyed his stories...until i recieved my grade. He moved the grading scale up so that a B was actually a C! I knew i would be getting a low B, but the C really hurt my GPA.
