His pet peeve: When writing a paper remember not to confuse past/present tenses (he told us this)LOL. Maybe he should have been an English prof. Expressed hardships/discrimination experienced in his life(I'll let him tell you), but honestly he seems to be a hypocrite. Midterm/Final were about 10 pages long(back & front)! 2 papers 4-5 pgs. long!

Simply rude! Plays favorites! Tries hard to be funny but unfortunately is very corny! Do not participate. Personally, I think he's heterophobic. Prefers male students to female students. His tests are all fill in and theres alot to memorize. Dont be late to class and dont hand in papers late, he downgrades them 1 full grade for every day late!

Really superb teacher who makes class very interesting. Is helpful if you come to him and tries to make it easy to understand his lessons. I'll miss his class because he was a vibrant and educated professor who really knew his stuff.

This is a very active class and you will learn a lot. His test are fill-in(+extra credit) but fair, very good review sheet! Def. a good choice for a winter class, a lot of reading but more focused on class topics. He gave a short paper, mideterm, and final.

HORRIBLE!!!! He is so arrogant, he told us he keeps his job professional and asks students to not flirt with him after semester. He is one of those people who appears to be friendly to others but inside is a horrible heartless person!!!! If you want your gpa to be nice than STAY AWAY FROM HIM! No wonder why he has like 10 students in his classes!

I took his class in the winter session and it was the best decision ever. he made 3 1/2 hrs go by sooo quick. alot of group work and the activities were really fun. we had a paper,which wasn't difficult, a midterm and a final. Such a great professor. He makes everything so fun and he really challenges you to re-think some of the stuff you believe. I took him in the summer and it was very little work. He wrote all the notes we needed and gave out study guides. there was a paper, but it wasn't hard. Take him if possible. Plus he's cute.

Pierce Mills is an amazing professor. But, then again, he's teaching Human Sexuality -- it's hard for students NOT to be interested ;) Besides making class a fun & safe place for discussions, he also grades very fairly. He tells you EXACTLY what he wants from you. If you deliver, you'll get an A. The most educational fun I've ever had in college :D

He's a nice man and all but there's just too much work involved, esp. when you're taking other classes that you need to be devoted to as well. awesome class. i think everyone should take it. it teaches you soooo much. from relationships to anatomy. lots of group work, but fun group work!! the exams...ummm. u have to know your stuff. there's not one multiple choice question. so u really have to study. but he does give extra credit...all i have to say is: he's great!!!
