Avoid this Professor if possible for any Geo or Geog courses after the first year.First year intro courses are alright but after that become extremely difficult to complete. His conduct towards students can be best described as arrogant with no room for compromise. Do not expect to get a fair break from this guy if you need one

hes very easy in his intro course but dont be expecting that if you take any other geology with him. All the exams are long essay questions and he is vary particular about marking them. He makes up a course pack for his classes which is much cheeper then buying books. He is a great prof and you learn a lot taking his classes! and field trip labs!

Great Prof. Cares about his student who actually show up and pay attention. Tests are not that hard as long as you study the material. Lectures can get dull especially when he explains his research which is very advanced and hard to follow.

He's pretty cute. The class is insanely easy if you can make it through his accent (it's not that bad). He gives you the answers to the tests the day before the class, and lets you take home the final quesitons. EASY, and nice.

He's a really nice guy, but I found his accent annoying and really hard to understand sometimes. The best thing about him was that he gave you the answers to the test the class before, so you just had to come on those days, take notes, and memorise them.
