Hands down one of the worst and most useless classes at Isenberg. This man may be well known for his research, but does not mean he can or is interested in teaching. His packets are VERY similar to exams, but it may be daunting that the class is 100% based on exams and each question you may get wrong is a point off your final grade.

Overall, very easy class. Just go to class to get the packets. The solutions are on the slides he puts online. Tests are EXACTLY from the packets, so just memorize. Class was extremely boring and you don't need to go. I liked the professor but he isn't very helpful.

Class is a joke. Just go to get the packets. Exams are very much like packets, but with diff. #s. Prepare to teach yourself, class is so boring if you go. Good note is, you know what test will be, but still hard material.

Professor Elgers is an extremely nice and thoughtful man, but he is simply too old to teach. The tests are VERY hard, averages revolving around a 65--with no scale. Classes are completely pointless because he LITERALLY reads driectly off a set of slides which are put online each week. If you do get stuck with him, go to his tutor.

Worthless class to attend. Learn nothing in class, all you have to pass this class is a packet of handouts. No point in going to class. Slides are basically useless. Grading is ridiculous. Hope you can memorize well.

He simplified a subject that shouldn't have been. Then to make up for the simplification, he never looked at our work. He just graded based on final answers. One answer early could be detrimental later on. I do not recommend for graduate students. Undergrads may take him if you like.

This man makes watching paint dry exciting. Class is painful. I never fall asleep in classes and I could barely stay awake. On the bright side, he gives out a packet of worksheets and the exams are the exact same thing with different numbers. I didn't learn anything but it was an easy A.

A nice professor, but had a hard time reaching the students. Even those who did well did not get notes back. Very disappointed. I did not do well and that is a bias, but I had a hard time understanding. I found his class interesting and recommend him regardless of my opinion.
