Pippa is an okay professor. Bit of a monotone and her tests are extremely confusing. The biggest issue is paying attention in her class which had a nasty habit of putting me to sleep

Comment:

Drennan is an okay teacher. However I felt that at times she could be very tricky about answers to questions on tests (more than some could work and she'd pick one she felt was more right). She also allows those who have a 90% test average to not take the cumulative final. Overall, she can be helpful if you have specific questions.

Dr. Drennan is a great professor, lectures are interesting. Textbook readings are assigned but I never did the reading because all the exams are taken straight from the lecture slides. She is always willing to answer questions and clarify. Probably my easiest class this semester.

Tests are straight from the slides. You have to know the material really well to do well on the tests, however. I made a study guide for every test and got an A on all of them. If you have an average of 90 or above on all the tests you don't have to take the cumulative final. There is EC on every test as well. Take her! She is great.

Her tests are tricky. She is not a bad teacher, but I have to disagree that this is an easy class. As a dedicated student, I found that studying the notes provided in class did not prepare me for her tests. The wording of the questions on her tests is very confusing. She also likes to use "some of the above" "none of the above" questions.

I loved Dr. Drennan. She is incredibly helpful and a great academic advisor. Her class is pretty straight forward, no surprises on the tests, although you have to attend class and go over the notes to earn decent grades. Her concern is for the students to understand the concepts, so you dont have to worry about memorizing small details.

Dr. Drennan is a nice person but she is very shy and lacks confidence in the class room. The class is not too terribly interesting, although there are a few good sections. If you do well on her tests (get an average of 90% or better) you don't have to take the cumulative part of her final. She's just a little bland.

She is dull and dry but she is pleasant enough. Her tests really aren't that hard if you give it an hour or two of studying. There are only 3 tests and 2 hw assignments all year. All you need is the notes and you should be fine in her class.

She can be boring because she teaches primarily off of powerpoint, but the hardest part is taking good notes. Her exams are straightforward. Go to lecture (or don't and copy someone's), take notes, study notes well, ace exam. Plus, if you get an A on all the exams you're exempt from taking the cumulative final, definitely something to strive for.

tests r challenging and r detailed. assigns ecobeaker hw, u need it cuz it adds 100 points 2 ur grade, if u get full credit that is. there r 3 midterms & 1 final. lowest test score is dropped. attendance isnt required but necessary 4 notes. notes r very organized and easy 2 understand, but there r a LOT. I'd take her again definitely.

Hard to understand because of her soft voice. Her test are very hard even if you study a lot. The only way she is easy is if you get her test from the year before. DOn't take her if you want an easy class!
