I took the class in the spring and it was 25 assignments to do. He's a straightforward type of guy & does not provide extra credit. This class is mostly about following directions for each assignment that he gives you. You do have to have some knowledge of the Microsoft suite. He provides aides for you if you don't know that much about Microsoft.

Not a very entertaining lecturer, but a good guy - laid-back, but very helpful both in and out of class. He's no longer a professor of mine, but I go to him whenever I need CS advising because he's so easy to talk to.

Easiest class I took this whole semester. Can definitely knock out all the assignments in a 3-4 weeks maybe less. Uploads all assignments at once. If you email him he will respond. Upload grades at about 5 assignments at a time. Do not need the textbook to pass class waste of money.

Typically 2 assignments per week. They progressively get harder as the semester goes on. The beginning assignments are very easy but they get harder. He is slow in responding to email and doesn't really help when you have questions. You are on your own.

The teacher was reasonable in his expectations. The instructions for some assignments were hard to follow, but I did figure it out. He is easy to get by email and will meet with students if needed. I would recommend this teacher.

Ridiculously easy; if you are willing to even put in a half an hour a week you should get an A. It is all about Microsoft Office. I never read the book; you don't need to at all. If you want 3 easy technology credits, this is the class for you. Clear, quick, easy assignments at your own pace.

SUPER easy kind of blow off class. All online work and easy busy work. Didn't buy the book, have no idea what was in it. But if you generally know the microsoft office programs, you will do absolutely fine without the book. I never used access before and still managed to get a perfect 100% in the class. even assignments turned in late, got 100%

Easy online class. Lots of busy work. If you accidentally miss a few assignments and turn them in late you still get full credit. No reason you shouldn't get an A if you at least try a little.

Itro to Comp Online. Was easy but expect to work. Knew word and excel fairly well so I didn't buy the book. Dont if you know these. Access was harder but I googled plenty of answers so book was useless. WORK AHEAD, so you don't get behind. He answers emails quickly. Plan to work, ranging from way too easy to kind of difficult in assignments.

super easy class - took it online. used the book one time, so i suggesting finding a friend and splitting the cost. he's not the greatest on being clear with the assignment as they're pulled directly from the book, so ask questions.

Totally awesome professor, very easy to understand once you get to know him. He's one knowledgeable guy and will teach you not just the programming language, but also the history behind it. The programs were a bit hard, but Mr. Galerneau was willing to lend a hand whenever needed. The quizzes and tests were easy if you read the book & took notes.

Excellent teacher! I had him for an online class. Assignments were very clear and he keeps you updated on your grades. I plan on taking this teacher for all of my computer classes and any others that he might teach.

All I can say is that he is an excellent teacher and if you know anything about computers for the CIS128 class I wouldn't buy the book it would be a complete waste of money.
