Rachel is such an amazing prof, the passion and knowledge she has about bio is astounding. She is always willing to answer questions and is very approachable. I would definitely take 100 more classes with her if I could. The exams are straight forward, if you study lecture notes you will succeed in this class.

I love Rachel Fink! She is so sweet and fun. Her love for sea urchins is the cutest thing. I absolutely loved Bio 200. Lecture is really fun and engaging!

Professor Fink was really clear in teaching. All you need is complete notes, memorize them and you are guaranteed to get A on her tests. Lectures get boring sometimes, but would definitely take another class with her

Fink is a great professor. She is super enthusiastic about what she is teaching and she is super helpful if you reach out to her. I had a hard time with the test because I am not a test taker, but I improved as time went on because she gave me strategies. Class is tough but worth it on the long run!

Hate, hate, hate, hated this class. The final was so brutal that almost no one came out of it feeling okay. It's a giant lecture, the notes are hefty and often disorganized, and the exams are much harder than you would expect. I came out of this class feeling demoralized. If you're not naturally good at biology--GOOD LUCK to you!

RF rocks! She takes a personal interest in every student she can - which is saying a lot with over 100 students. I mentioned in ONE meeting that I liked something, and she saw a book on it and got it for me. She builds MHC's community and she has tons of enthusiasm for what she teaches. Take a class with her!

Rachel is the best! Took a Biology/Bioethics class on Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research with her and Lynn, our president and they were both engaging, lively teachers. The class was pretty chill in terms of assignments, we had a few presentations and very interesting thought provoking readings. Take the class!!

Prof. Fink is very enthusiastic about her work and an excellent teacher. Her lectures are interesting and she teaches at a comfortable pace. She is also very helpful outside class, though she may not reply to emails in a timely manner. She is approachable and a great person to go to if you need help scheduling, planning your summers, or just figuring out your future:). Rachel is spunky for her size but very collected in lecture. Her presentations always flow very nicely and her diagrams are clear and really attribute to what you're learning for the day. You might find her obsession with sea urchins to be a little strange, but you won't regret learning from her!

Rachel is enthusiastic (although not as much as Amy) and very helpful. She speaks and writes at a manageable pace, and her diagrams are large, readable, and normally uncluttered. Often complements lectures with videos, and always willing to answer questions. She covers a lot of information, but I understood her better than Amy. Highly recommended.

Rachel was great. Even in a class of over 100 students, she made an effort to get to know everyone as much as possible, and she was very available for help and/or advising if needed. She always made an effort to visualize processes that were difficult to visualize and explain things in different ways to make sure that we got it. Organized also.

Fantastic...i would take a biology course just because she is teaching it! She is very passionate about teacher and it makes everything interesting...even subjects that would otherwise be a bit tedious. I fully recommend taking a course with her, just understand that taking good notes in lecture is important!

I'm sure a lot of people like her but I found her lectures unhelpful and did not feel like they prepared me well for her exams. The exams were ridiculously hard, and we hardly spent any time reviewing for finals. They're such hard graders and give extremely hard tests and finals.

Great teacher, tons of visuals, very interesting. Sometimes I didn't feel quite comfortable approaching her, but I absolutely loved her class.
