I got a 50 average on the homeworks and didn't go to class for 2 months and pulled out an A with minimal studying. Do decent on the 2 tests and hope the people in your class are dumb so you get a big curve. attendance is randomly taken so just get a friend that actually goes to class to sign you in

Accent is hard to understand but if you sit in the front it should be easy to understand. He does attendance randomly so just go to class and sit in the back sign in then leave if your like that. He is willing to help and will adjust his schedual for you. Make sure you do the aplia homeworks.

Mody is a good guy. The people that can't understand him aren't trying hard enough. He's a really good professor, explains material well in lecture and aplia assignments reinforce the material. Only a mid-term and final. Takes random attendance. Buy the review guide that goes along with the textbook, it really helps when studying for tests and apli

pretty good professor. can read just the book and get by pretty easily in class but he helps clarify. doesnt go very fast on material so if you dont understand what hes saying, you just gotta go to class and he will explain it for half an hour. gets easier to understand as you keep listenin

Pretty nice guy, but really boring. Hard to understand his accent at times during lectures and takes attendance at random times. Exams weren't too bad..textbook was pretty helpful. The aplia assignments were helpful as well in understanding the material. Not the best professor, but still managed to do pretty well in his class.

He is hard to understand, but if you sit close it isn't too bad. He takes attendance sometimes but I don't think it has much influence on your grade. The material is easy and if you skim the book and take some notes you should do well. Aplia assignments are also helpful in preparing for the exam so do those too.

Mody is an interesting creature. It's definitley a challenge to understand him so sit close. Tests are right from the book, however going to class and knowing what he focuses on will really help filter out unessisary studying. Attendance does reflect your grade. This class requires work but all econ classes at albany won't be easy.

Had him for ECO110 as well, Mody's a nice guy who really likes to talk about economics. His tests are easy as long as you read the textbook or notes which are out of the book. Tests are very fair, his grading is kind of strict but he curves. Takes attendance almost everyday. Understanding him is not a problem AT ALL if you sit close.

People should give Mody a brake. Yea he's hard 2 comprehend but if you sit in the front, you'll do fine. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE APLIA ASSIGNMENTS.If you read the book b4 tests you'll do fine .
