Comment:

Easily one the the brightest minds at the UofC. Has extensive knowledge of what he teaches. He has his biases (evident in his writing) but he does not let them get in the way of marking. One of the few people in my life who changed the way I thought about politics. There is a larger course load but its worth it if you want to learn something new.

tons of workload. very interesting class but it is collaborative inquiry... or something. basically, weekly blog posts. not your ordinary lecture. if you like tests, do not take this course. if you like participating, this will be your favourite course.

Post secondary would benefit greatly from more right wing professors like Dr. Knopff. Great class and it was extremely refreshing to have a professor who doesn't preach extreme left progressive nonsense. Will take him again, no doubt.

Really smart, really informed and great to students. Keeps his personal views out of the classroom, welcomes dissenting opinions and arguments, and is generally just a nice guy, if a little dry. Take his class, you'll be glad you did.
