This is attesting to his legacy; to anyone who wants to read his work or look back on some history. Professor Wynn changed my perspective of a learning environment and provided an idealized enriching environment. This was a class I would expect at a university of UBC's esteem, but only had once or twice. Incredible, inspiring and lucky to meet him

Dr. Wynn is an incredibly intelligent professor who gives very detailed feedback on assignments. I think people who find him "boring" definitely have very little interest in the subject matter he is teaching. He gives fascinating context to his lectures and is overall very helpful and has a great sense of humor.

A challenging class with many assignments, but all the hard work was definitely worth it! I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to dive deeper into the development of environmental thought.

Graeme is very knowledgeable and while his lectures may seem dry and convoluted sometimes, they are quite interesting if you try. I like his old school ways of teaching but I understand how some may feel frustrated. Some lecture readings are a bit on the optional side but def read the discussion ones. Overall, good but under-appreciated prof.

I find him to be a very intelligent man who I can easily carry out a decent conversation outside of class time; however, his lectures are often dry and boring. Take his Geography class if you are alert that day, are interested in what actually goes on in his class, and can figure out what notes to write down.

I can tell he's a really great guy and occasionally his sense of humour comes out, but generally his lectures are hard to follow and I find that I can't stay interested for more than ten minutes, even when I try. He definitely knows a lot but his classes are dead boring and I now have no motivation to attend (though I haven't skipped yet..)

I can't believe anyone could say something bad about him!!! The material he has to teach isn't exactly thrilling, but he does a good job n covers different aspects... it was intresting, and the articles you do have to read aren't that bad... you will actually learn in this class and about things in your own city. fun! such a nice man!

His voice is boring and he takes five minutes to complete a sentence/thought because he qualifies everything. May put you asleep. However he definitely knows what he's talking about and is enthusiastic about the subject material.

Man, you would have to be a serious loser not to get an A in this class. I guess if you had 4th grade grammar you would think he was wordy and dull. It's a good thing there are a lot of losers in there though, otherwise some students migt have to work. Thanks guys, I knew I could depend on you to whine me to an A.

His voice and teaching style has a tendency to put you to sleep at times, but he's really not that bad if you can follow him. He was perfect for the field trips as well. He tends to stray from the topic at hand, but the subsequent integration of seemingly unrelated topics is appreciated, since it greatly expands on the material. Also sings.

He is the absolute worst prof I've ever encountered in the Geography building. His material is dry &, sadly, so is he. His monotonous voice puts half his class to sleep & he could not care less! In regards to the other reviews, I'm sure he knows just how boring he is, yet makes no effort to present his material in a more amiable way. STAY AWAY!

A man who really seems to know his subject matter, someone who has made a real effort to get involved in the historical geography that he is teaching - this shows in his enthusiasm and personal knowledge of the places we're studying.

Good speaker but seems to think too highly of himself. Course is rather boring. Heavy workload but manageable if you don't procrastinate all term. Reasonable marker. Survived the course but will be avoiding any more classes with this prof.

Geo 210 in one word....terrible. Incredibly boring prof. He uses the most unnecesarily pretentious diction and he is kind of pompous. You get the impression real quick that he thinks he is real smart. Can fall asleep for 20 mins wake up and still be on same slide!

This class is not for everyone. There are a lot of assignments, and Professor Wynn tends to wax philosophical in a way that loses many people. He can make a lecture about some Chinese immigrant cutting down a tree into a parable between good and evil, and a timeless lesson on sustainability.

The MOST boring professor I have ever encountered in my life. It's unbelievable how dreadful this guy is! You would think that a course based on Vancouver would be INTERESTING but no...he makes it so BORING. Lectures put you to sleep even if you weren't tired to begin with. AVOID HIM!

Such an excellent lecture style - I love that he references art & literature as well as stodgy academics. Large workload but so far, all every interesting reading and inventive assignments. I have really had to stretch myself in this course and I appreciate the opportunity. Also, best diction ever!
