Comment:
Took this class about 10 years ago. If only I spent more time on the homework, I might be a $100K computer programmer instead of a $20K mail clerk.

This professor was by far the worst instructor possible for an online class. For most of the semester both the instructor and the T/A were missing in action. Very little direction was given.

Comment:
This professor was late in grading homework and the final. He rarely posted anything helpful in conferences. Little constructive feedback was given. The course becomes more intense in the second half, but this is when he really stopped participating. Some students were late receiving tuition assistance because of his procrastination.

The homework is hard, but worthwhile. If I were an employer looking for a C++ programmer, then I'd hire anybody who got an A in this class.

The worst teacher I've had. Late on every thing but takes off points if your late. It's the last week of class and most of my projects including the midterm are still not graded.

Covers the material very quickly. Not a lot of time spent on some of the harder concepts of methods. The examples he gives are incredibly murky and almost impossible to follow. He is, however, knowlegeable and if you're already an adept programmer he may be a good choice.

This professor was great, very intelligent and made sure students understood what he lectured. The programming projects were fair and he also let students know what to expect on the exams, which were open book, open notes.

This guy is very fast to respond, but entirely too critical. I forgot one line of code and he took 30% of my grade for it! His requirements are crap and he admits such, but still grades harshly if you can't read his mind and provide things not asked for.
