Modern Physics can easily be seen as a sham. The material is beyond the scope of reality. This class was taught from textbook slides, allowing zero interpretation or guidance. Like most physics professors, class time was a side project.

Bansil is very good at teaching Modern Physics. Her lectures were usually pretty good, even though she followed the textbook and slides. Can be hard to undertand from time to time, but usually relatively clear. Doesn't always explain all derivations completely. Homeworks were moderately difficult, exams were easy if you studied.

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR. She would ask the students why she was getting the wrong answers for physics problems and never knew what she was talking about. Worst class I've ever taken because she is just inadequate as a professor.

The lecture she taught was very hard to follow. She wasn't prepared to do the experiments and had a hard time conveying what she was thinking. It made it really hard to learn being unable to understand her with her accent.
