Hands down, WORST professor to take for this class that nobody else teaches. Three major components to the class: Simulation game, group project and tests. Does not explain things well at all, doesn't prepare you well for tests and overall makes things harder than it has to be. I took this with Capstone and it was more work than that class.

Professor Desiraju was a really great professor. His lectures were long and could be draining at times, but the material was interesting and he broke it down so it was easy to understand. His tests were relatively easy if you pay attention and take notes in class. I would definitely recommend him.

He's not as bad as people say. Grading was fair. He's happy to answer questions. The content isn't hard to understand as long as you go to class. The sublists are all you need to study for the exams. Drops an exam. There is a group project, but if you care it's super real life applicable (I talked about it in an internship interview and got hired)

Attendance only mandatory on certain days. I never went to class, but this made the tests a lot harder than they probably are. I got by with my knowledge from Quantitative Business Tools II. Tests are 30% math70% concepts.

Professor is a joke. Ask a question and he will talk down to you like a child. Has no teaching ability whatsoever. If you can take any other professor, I would highly recommend doing so. He doesn't care about his students at all.

As long as you choose a good group & topic, the project is not that bad, just time manage wisely & follow basic instructions. His first exam was fairly easy but then he started testing you on material thats not in the sublist(study guide) or not mentioned at all in class. Go to class to fill in his notes. He leaves parts blank specifically for that

Overall I would recommend him, but not maybe not the best professor out there. Make sure to do the sublists he provides for the exams. You don't need to read the book, but you will need it for the sublist questions. Group project isn't terrible, but make sure you get started right away because its a lot!!

enthusiastic and nice teacher, but the class & material is boring. There is no +/- for grades, but group projects are easy A's if you put in basic effort. The tests aren't too bad if you know what to study and where to look. Final is cumulative and optional because lowest of the 4 tests is dropped.

This professor really means well and cares. He appreciates if he's sees you attending class regularly and that will overall help with your project grade. Get started on the project early. It's totally doable. Study the sublists for the exam.s Don't be afraid to ask questions. Overall an okay class!

I thought this class was fairly easy. He dropped the lowest test grade for us, and graded us pretty well on our project. Make sure you pick a good group. I never got the book, but found some of the material on the test wasn't covered in class and was required in outside reading. Just go to class and you should easily get an A or B.

He does a good job instructing - has an accent, but acknowledges it on day 1, and will repeat things when needed. Print his PowerPoint slides and take notes on them, best way to study, and don't need text at all (i did this method and got an A w/o studying AT ALL). Pick group CAREFULLY, i had 3 deadbeats and it wasn't fun. Drops lowest test grade!

I disagree with those below me. He teaches at a slow pace to get you to understand every word he's saying. Projects are tough but he is willing to help clarify. Material is slightly hard but his ppt's are the base of the class. Exams are not too difficult until we get into the statistics portion of the class.

It is really difficult to understand him and he does not teach very well. The project is a pain, but if you try really hard, you can still get an A. I did. I would not recommend him for someone who can't devote a lot of time into this class.

This professor is not as bad as people make him to be. He does try to make sure students understand. The material is not the easiet, but you can pass with an good grade as long as you stay on top on his study guide and notes.

you'll find his class boring, especially 3 hrs in one day was a pain in the ass. He's one of the worst professor...If you take him...u'll be confused because he doesn't even know what he's talking about...Students didn't bother asking him questions because he lost all of us from the start....we had no clue what and where to ask..His exams are ave

Intelligent man, horrible teacher. He should think of a career change, he just doesn't seem interested in class nor during office hours. Tests are average, the difficulty is trying to determine what to study because he leaves it so vague. If you can't find anyone better than take him - you will pass, it will just be a confusing roller coaster.

His tests are nothing what he goes over, there is no study guide and no way for you to prepare for whats on the tests. You take the test and feel like your looking at this for the first time. His notes don't make sense since he is constantly jumping from slide to slide. Take someone else, still passed the class but barely and I am not a bad student

hes nice. you can understand him fine he just has an accent. the stuff hes teaching is kind of difficult but if you go to class and ask questions he is always willing to go over it again & again until you get it. going over the chapters in the book before the tests was very helpful. only thing that sucks is the project. get in a good group.

He's alright. If you study you'll do fine. Project is annoying like most projects are -- a tad time consuming. Not too difficult of a teacher. My only complaint is boring lectures and he's all over the board when he writes notes. Difficult to follow in that respect.
