Dr. Ramesh Karne is my favorite professor in Computer Science department. He has deep knowledge and can explain the subject in an understandable manner. Get ready to answer a question in class and can get extra credit, and he has two test midterm and final if you really understand and focus in class and do well in homework trust me it is A class.

Dr. Karne is the best ever. Try taking OS with another professor and youll know what I mean. So knowledgeable and explains in a way that simplifies VERY complex topics. I wish he gives ALL doctoral courses.

The Lab is hard but Ta guy will give you full point for trying. The mid and final worth a lot of point so make sure you do well. the lecture is so boring and heavy.

Took 290 with him. Very qualified, ot good at teaching at all. Lectures are extremely confusing and his heavy accent doesn't help. Breezes through really diffucult topics. Expect to go from no knowledge of a subject to having to write a lab program in the same class with a program you never used. Logisim labs are easy but later ones are annoying.

2 exams. worth 60% of total grade. pay attention in class and ask questions when you dont understand and the professor will take out time to make sure the concept is reiterated. he is helpful during labs, I found the TA to be incredibly helpful. But the major key is asking questions.

Professor Karne is very unclear when giving labs. He expects you to teach yourself and know how to do them which is impossible because the information is not in the book or powerpoints. He enjoys seeing his students struggle with them. Overall, he is not too helpful. Lectures are long and can get boring.

He is a good teacher and knows his stuff. However the lectures are long and dry even though he tries. The labs are interesting however they do not come with much instruction. The only bad thing about his class is him and the TA having differences of opinions on grading labs other than that is was a good class.

One of the best professor in the Computer Science Department. He is a very decent, extremely knowledgeable and lenient professor in Towson. He simplifies the complex text matter in a way that students can understand. I highly recommend taking 519 with him.

Very hard to understand. He expects you to know what he's talking about even if you've never seen it in your life. He makes a difficult subject way more difficult to learn. Lectures use all 3 hours, extremely boring. He is very unhelpful in labs and literally tells you to do it yourself in labs. Avoid at all costs.

he is hard to understand when he speaks. he expects you to teach yourself how to make circuits and use logism. if you ask for help he tells you to figure it out. then he expects you to teach yourself assembly and the kicker is after he has graded the labs on logism and labs on assembly then he teaches you the correct way to use it. AVOID! boring

The class isn't as bad as my review makes it seem, it's confusing, but as long as you manage to complete the labs, you'll get 100%, and that is 30% of your grade. Also homeworks are easy to get an A on and sometimes you can resubmit answers, that's another 20% of your grade. Idk, the subject bores me, his voice puts me to sleep. It's a hairflip.
