My favorite Delta teacher by far. I've had Randal for two classes and he never fails to inspire and motivate me to attempt new things in the artistic field. Many Delta professors only care that you get work done in time, whereas Randal wants you to love your work, and to do it in a way that feels right for you. Work hard you will do well with him!

Randal is one of my favorite teachers at Delta, most of the professors either don't care or care about really asinine things. Randal is clearly passionate about art, and as long as you put in effort and pay attention he will help with whatever you need. Just don't slack off, you won't get half as much out of the class if you do.

Randy only gave one demo, and is usually not in the classroom to answer any questions. He is always running around like a chicken with his head cut off, and when you do ask a specific question, all he says is, "More!". Did not teach how to use materials, Gives way too much time for slackers.

this was such an excellent class to take! the instructor randal crawford was extremely helpful and knowledgable about ceramics i couldnt ask a question he couldnt answer. his critiques are honest and his student productivity is superb. i would refer this class to anyone interested in cermaics.

I felt that Crawford went beyond any teacher I have ever had. He expects and wants us to explore such contemporary methods of clay and thinking about art. People who want to make cups, will struggle, but those who want to explore clay as an artistic medium, will be completely blown away. He is unconventional, but art is his passion 100%.

Randal Crawford is a great professor. His heart and soul goes into the class and helping the students. He gives us opportunities to display our pieces around the school and around the community which is unlike any other class. His art style is very modern and gives out his tools and equipment in a heart beat. He is very energetic and opptomistic.

I didn't really understand what this would be. I really enjoy ceramics although, and have learned a lot. It was a little intimidating but he was super inspirational and helpful. You have to be motivated and have time management skills. love the class!!
