Great comprehensive application of all the things you learned in all your business classes. I attribute much of my current financial success to the advice of Dr. Randall Harris. Not only does he show how things connect to the real world in a concrete way, but he listens to his students, holds them accountable, and gives challenging but good work

I disagree. Took him in 2010. Dr. H was a great teacher that makes you work hard for a reason. No easy ride here but most students at CSUS want (and need) an easy ride. Teachers need to dumb down classes because of the laziness that is exhibited. Take Dr. H if you want to learn. You won't make it in the corporate world if you don't.

Totally agree with the previous posting. BS Game, ppt presentation, online end of chapter quizzes, a couple of small in class assignments. I really liked this professor and he wasn't to hard on the eyes either. Be sure to get GOOD partners for the BS Game as you will be spending quite a bit of time with them--hence lots of cooperation & patience!

Cool teacher, major assignments are Business Strategy Game online and Final Presentation. Small assignments and easy online quizes in between. No large exams. You shouldn't be learning anything new in this class just how to connect what you have learned in the ones leading to this capstone course. Don't subscribe to the WSJ!

Easy professor - multiple choice tests straight from the book. Minimal writing required (only a few short writing assignments). Didn't learn anything in the class and found the class sessions to be a big waste of time. Prof has some interesting stories but is very arrogant. Easy but boring class. Minimal effort required.

I felt like i didn't learn anything new.You spend most of the time preparing for a case analysis on a company. Pick a good group. You play an online game that was really dumb considering he put a rule in that would allow only one group to really win.

He was a really good teacher in regards to teaching the material. He gives a MASSIVE amount of work, but he definitely prepares you well for the comprehensive exam. His classes are interesting, as well.

I don't know why people are saying that this guy is a hard professor... maybe because they're just lazy and never showed up to class. I took this guy for MGT 3310 and it was super easy. Don't buy the book and just study off of his notes over and over before the test. Always do the homework and show up to class by signing the roll sheet. Easy A IMO!

Awful! OMG this guy is so arrogant I'm surprised he has not tattoo PHD on his forehead, cuz he sure likes to emphasize that he is a doctor. He can't stand when people are late, so if you think you are, don't show up at all (he will point). Reviews for his 3 tests are worthless! My advice is - memorize the book. I obviously do not recommend him.

Everyones scared of Dr. Harris for some reason. If you show up to class, do your work, and show some interest, he will be nice to you. If you're a slacker, he may hold a grudge. Fairly easy class. Easy presentations. Tests are the hardest part but they are straight from class discussion, powerpoint printouts, and the textbook.
