Easily one of the best professors at SIUE. If you show up to class and pay attention, the tests will be easy. He is very passionate about what he teaches and loves what he does. I have very rarely been bored in his class. Would take him again in a heartbeat.

He will definitely be your favorite teacher. He doesn't use the textbook, but he makes the information very easy to understand and take notes from. You will get an easy A as long as you put out some effort. He is a wonderful professor!... I would recommend him in a heart-beat!

Great guy, brings a high level of enthusiasm to class. You will be taught quite a bit, but he makes the class very manageable and easy to get an A as long as you pay attention to lecture. He is a very kind, understanding and helpful professor. One of the best on campus.

Easy. Great professor. Makes connections with students. You will learn ALOT about rocks. Material is boring he helps to make it more interesting. Funny guy &does not take attendance if you miss you will have a lot of notes to copy from someone. Gives random quizzes you will know about them. Draws a lot of pictures to try to explain things better

EXCELLENT TEACHER! Very understanding of students' problems and is very willing to help. Extremely nice and funny. Probably the best professor on campus. If you have the chance, take one of his courses- even if not related to your major.

Pearson is a nice guy. Lots of information presented, so be prepared to take LOTS of notes. Not many tests, but also not many ways to bring up a bad grade. He goes over material before the tests & hands out overviews of what will be on each test. Like the class, the overview covers a lot of material so you will be studying.

Single greatest teacher on the planet! Take this class! He is so funny, energetic, down-to-earth, and relateable. He loves to have fun and hear jokes. He knows his stuff and you WILL too by the end of the class. Go to class, b/c there will be surprise quizes. if u r there on quiz day he practically gives you the answers! Be ready for fun and laughs

Good at what he does! Makes class interesting and take a little time everyday to chat with everyone. This makes class seem to fly by. He is usually 5-10 minutes late everyday which got pretty annoying. But other than that the class is great and study guides provided REALLY help out!

Hilarious, entertaining stories. I hate science, but he made it fun. I actually enjoyed class. Frequently gets off-topic, but eventually returns. Exams are in-depth, study guide is provided. Very helpful. Take lots of notes. Book is never used. Nice, funny, awesome professor. Class gets out early often. Loved it.

Wonderful professor! He really cares about his students and makes learning really fun and entertaining. I didn't want to take this class, but I had so much fun, learned a lot, didn't have to work for, and still got an A. You really have to not try to not get a good grade. havent taken a test yet, but i like his teaching style. he seems very concerned with everyone doing well (aka he won't screw you just because he's a prof) and i thought i was the only one who thought he was cute!
