Comment:

Only problem with Randy in my opinion is how you need to find time specific to when he's available to turn in projects. Other than that, he's great. Fun lecturer, and he makes you actually code fully working projects. This class was great for practical experience in basic back-end work, and I highly recommend it when it becomes available.

I have never met a professor that cares more about his students than Randy does. He will absolutely go out of his way to help you succeed and beyond that genuinely cares about his students, this was extremely clear on the first day. Very down to earth and funny! He makes you want to show up to class!

Oh Randy. To be clear, I adhere to the "3 is the average professor" rating guideline. Randy deserves all the 5's I could possibly give. Does an amazing job explaining new concepts to students with little computer experience. ALWAYS willing to meet with you (though his office is packed during office hours). Hilarious, helpful, brilliant.

Randy teaches easy courses, but not with a good amount of direction. He won't research his material, leading to old info. If you go to speak with him in his office, he'll lend you a few minutes before blowing you off, time not well spent. If you can get some time with him though, he will spoon feed you answers/code. Very kind and fun to be aroud.

Randy's class is fairly easy if you just pay attention. Often times he'll talk about something you haven't heard of before to get you to ask questions, which usually lead to good discussions. If you don't already love computer science, you will after his class. His class is very excited and never boring.

simply amazing. He understood that most the people in the class where not CS majors and made it fun and understandable. I learned allot got an A with little effort. My friend was not smart and knew nothing at all and still got a C or B. I would recommend him every time.
