Ray is a great prof - he is amazing at turning complex concepts into easily - understood step by step solutions. His tests and exams are among the most fair I've taken before, period. MOST of then test questions are nearly word for word from the assigned questions or lecture questions. Hard course content, easy professor.

Really cool. I had no interest in physics before this class and his demos were cool, engaging, and made everything clear. Easily best physics teacher and lab instructor I've ever had. One of the best teachers in any subject.

RAY POWER! One of my favourite teachers of ALL TIME! Made physics my favourite class to go to. Really easy to understand him in class, does examples in class that are right out of the text book (which is where the assignment questions come from), and there are NO surprises on tests. Awesome demos, and Ray is a great guy. Loved him!!

Very interesting teacher. Uses plenty of demonstrations to keep material interesting. Test material is fair with no surprises, but don't expect to finish early. Fair marker and is able to generate interest in class. Recommended.

Really good teacher. He's very passionate about physics which got me into it as well. Lots of great examples that you can apply to real life. Good sense of humour but you might not catch this unless you sit near the front of the class because a lot of it is non-verbal. No surprises on the tests. It's a hard course so study!

Gives a lot of examples, but makes them very basic. Classes are extremly boring, unless he is using demos, which always seem to make everything more clear. Not a horrible teacher, not an awesome one either. Also, doesn't prepare you that well for tests.
